Understanding the Bible has one purpose: to help a reader understand the Word of God. Understanding the Bible seeks to accomplish what Nehemiah wrote, "So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading" (Nehemiah 8:8). Understanding the Bible endeavors to give the sense of any given passage of Scripture and help a reader to understand the reading.

The Understanding the Bible commentary set is 8,368 pages long in 11 hardbound volumes. There is no other commentary set available today which is comparable to it. It is a new and refreshing commentary on the Word of God. This project has been in the making for over ten years.

Here's What Readers are saying:
“My heart was absolutely ‘thrilled!’...."
"This commentary is a refreshing approach to the study of the Scriptures...."
"I am delighted to recommend this commentary to pastors and laymen alike...."

Neither Oldest Nor Best
How the Foundational Manuscripts of Modern Bible Translations are Unreliable

Dr. David Sorenson presents compelling evidence that the principal manuscripts, foundational to virtually all modern Bible versions Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus are not ancient. They in fact are of recent origin. Though presenting literary history, many will find this book to be a page turner. There is scholarship evident throughout, yet the author writes on a level which just about anyone can understand. This book presents powerful evidence that Codex Sinaiticus was actually produced in 1840 and that Codex Vaticanus is no older than the medieval era, with modifications likely made in the 19th century.

God's Perfect Book
The Inspiration, Preservation, and Alteration of the Bible

"The law of the Lord is perfect."
-Psalm 19:7

God's Perfect Book presents a biblical development of the doctrines of inspiration and preservation. The final section of the book presents the unmistakable pattern of Gnostic alterations of the modern Critical Text whence virtually all modern Bible versions are based.

God's Perfect Book is a powerful defense of the King James Bible and how it is the inerrant, infallible Word of God in the English language. This book is key to understanding the controversy over Bible inspiration and preservation.
